Double Up Food Bucks began at Idaho farmers markets in 2016 as a way to increase access to and affordability of fresh fruits and vegetables for low-income families, support area farmers, and stimulate local economies

How it works: Double Up Food Bucks provides participants in the SNAP program with a one-to-one match to purchase healthy, locally grown fruits and vegetables. (SNAP stands for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program formerly known as food stamps.)

1. Find Market Info Booth or Food Stamp/SNAP/EBT Booth at one of the markets listed below

2. Swipe your Quest Card for desired amount and receive token(s) of equal value! Receive double the amount at participating Double Up markets!

3. Exchange your token(s) for eligible healthy, local food!

Below is a list of farmers markets in Idaho that accept food stamps and their respective incentive programs.
