The Home-Delivered Meal (HDM) program provides nutritious meals to individuals over the age of 60, who are homebound and unable to prepare their own meals. At least 1 meal is provided per day 5 or more days a week (except in rural areas where such frequency is not feasible). Meals may include hot, frozen, dried, canned, fresh or supplemental foods. Nutrition education, counseling and other nutrition services are provided as well.
