A parent is a child’s first and most important teacher. But we know that babies don’t come with an instruction manual. This FREE in-home program is designed to provide parents with information and to help build their children’s intellectual, language, social, and physical development from prenatal to kindergarten age. Central District Health Department (CDHD) offers the Parents as Teachers (PAT) program to qualifying Ada County residents who are expecting or have children up to kindergarten age. PAT or a similar program may be available through your local health department.
