Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is used to help fight opioid addiction. MAT is available through qualified prescribers.
The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress.
Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline provides crisis intervention, emotional support, problem solving, and referrals to local resources for persons at risk for suicide and for those concerned about them.
Currently, crisis centers are located in multiple towns throughout Idaho. These crisis centers provide emergency substance use disorder and mental health services for adults 18 and older. Care is available for up to 24 hours.
Treatment for youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance is provided through Medicaid for eligible families.
